Technology has become prevalent in day to day life. We're expected to know how it works, operate it, and what to do if it breaks. What happens though when technology is hard to use, doesn't do what it's meant to, or the manual makes no sense? You call in an expert.
Experts are odd creatures, they work hard to accumulate knowledge, they work harder to keep it, and somewhere along the line, some forget how to deal with people. They tut when you don't understand "simple" concepts, they talk very fast and expect you to keep up. They forget that you aren't into technology as much as they are.
That path leads to frustration, irritation and abandoning some really cool ideas and objects. Technology isn't to be feared or discarded, you just need to deal with someone who has a passion about it, and is able to talk about that passion in a language you understand.
That's where this site comes in. It's a germ of an idea, but one that I'm going to grow. My name is Simon Carter, I am passionate about technology, but I am more passionate about people. I want to help you make the most of your technology, and help you use it.
